It is reported that Liu Zhenya also talked about expanding wind power facilities in the Arctic and connecting them with solar station near the equator. It is said that the foundation of the global power grid is UHV transmission technology, and China has accumulated about 10 years of experience in this field. According to the plan, the global electricity from the grid will be transmitted through 800,000 volts DC cable or 1.1 million volts AC cable.
